The Rainbook workspace
Work your pipeline, accounts, renewals and customer email in one fast workspace inside Jira, with Home showing what needs you today.
Open the workspace
Open Rainbook from Jira's app menu. Pipeline, accounts and contacts sit in one fast workspace beside the rest of your Jira work, and every record is a Jira work item, so the permissions, search and history you already know apply.
The workspace remembers what you last saw in this browser, so each area opens at once and then refreshes from Jira. Press ⌘K on a Mac, or Alt+K on Windows, to jump to any record, area or command, and ? to list the keyboard shortcuts.
Home
Home is the page you start the day on:
- Today: your meetings and the follow-ups due today or overdue.
- Slipped deals: your deals whose Close date passed or moved this week.
- At-risk renewals: renewals in the next 60 days on accounts below Health 40.
- Inbox: the approvals, proposals and offers waiting on you.
- What's new and Recent records: what changed in Rainbook, and the records you opened last.
Above the cards, the Ask bar answers questions about your pipeline, insight cards point out what changed, and the reports you pin sit beside them. See AI.
If Jira doesn't answer, a card shows the rows saved in this browser and says they may be out of date, rather than showing an empty card.
Inbox
The Inbox holds everything that waits on you: approval requests, proposals from Rainbook's AI and agents, possible duplicates, promises found in customer email, and "Closed Won: start delivery" offers for deals you own. Approve or Reject each one where it is; an approved change applies under your own Jira permissions, with Undo. See Proposals you approve, with Undo.
Pipeline, Accounts and Contacts
- Pipeline shows your deals by stage as a board or a grid. Drag a deal to move its stage, or edit amounts, dates and owners in the grid; each change is written to the Jira work item.
- Accounts and Contacts list your companies and people, always by their full names.
- Save the filters and columns you use as a view.
When an admin adds a stage to a pipeline workflow in Jira, it shows as an open column marked "Needs setup" until a Rainbook admin says what kind of stage it is. See Admin notifications.
Renewals
The Renewals area lists upcoming renewals grouped by month. Each row shows the account's open renewal, its support requests and bugs, and any save play Rainbook proposed. Create renewal opens Jira's own create dialog.
Conversations
The Conversations area lists every captured thread from Rainbook Mail Sync that you can open, with the latest message's preview. Filter by Mine, Private, Has files, sentiment, when the last message arrived, or an account, deal or owner, and search subjects, people and message text. On a new site, search says when its index is still getting ready.
Conversations need Rainbook Mail Sync and a paid plan for capture. See Mail Sync.
Reports
The Reports area keeps the charts you save from Ask. Each report refreshes for the person opening it, under their own permissions, and can go on Home or a Jira dashboard. See Ask.
Records
A deal, account or contact opens on its record page: the key facts and health at the top, the timeline of email, meetings and changes, and the Work tab, which draws the deal, its promises and the delivery work on one time line. A won deal shows its Delivery card once delivery starts. See Deal-to-delivery.
Totals that say what they leave out
Every total in the workspace counts every record that belongs in it, or says in words what it leaves out, for example "This excludes 3 deals you can't open" or "Still filling" while Revenue impact catches up after an import. Hover the note to see why.
Export what you see
Export the records you can see from Settings › Export and backups as CSV files or an Excel workbook. See Export your records.
